All the figures in the relief seem to have their correspondence in the equivalent engraving of the Office (see the animation below), with one exception: Christ, whose position, gesticulation and seat recall the print made by Cornelis Cort after Giulio Clovio. It is unclear if this presumed fusion was conceived by the sculptor of the choir stalls or if it had already appeared in a previous engraving.
